WBS complies with all relevant Occupational/Workplace Health and Safety legislation. Facilitators will actively take steps to identify hazards that could cause harm to participants in the workplace and learning environment. Where possible, the facilitators will take action to remove or control these hazards, and will report the hazard to the appropriate on site personnel.
In the event WBS delivers training to classroom based participants, we will not permit participants to attend scheduled classes for more than eight (8) hours in a day.
Where practicable, participants must take responsibility for their own health and safety (duty of care) and that of their fellow participants, or employees. This means participants must follow all safety rules, procedures and the instructions of their facilitator while in attendance at WBS premises or in the workplace.
